Mike Collie is an independent insurance agent and field underwriter. First licensed in 1968 in the Odessa/Midland Texas area. Mike is licensed in Texas, Oklahoma, Nevada, Tennessee, and Ohio. Since 1991 he has established himself as the insurance agent of referral for the American Federation of Musicians Locals in Austin, Houston and San Antonio, Texas, Las Vegas, Nevada, and as of 2020 Reno, Nevada.

Mike is a member of the San Antonio Blues Society, six year sponsor of the San Antonio Jazz Market, spent six years as a dues paying member of NARAS, and is listed with The Texas Music Industry Directory. Mike is also a a Lifetime member of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame, and a member of the Society of San Antonio Radio Broadcasters.
